Hi, I’m Sibu! A Costa Rican global citizen who moved to China alone at 17 and hasn’t stopped since. Over 100 countries visited, 20+ years of living and traveling around the world, and a career built entirely on the road. I’ve lived in 9 of those countries – not just visited them.

I hold a Bachelor’s in International Economics from China and a Master’s in Human Rights and International Conflict from the UK. I co-founded The Hybrid Tours, a travel company focused on sustainable travel, and I work as an international guide for some of the world’s leading extreme travel companies. I also speak 5 languages, which to me is the ultimate form of cultural immersion. That’s the kind of travel and expertise I bring to the table – and it’s what I share here.
