VEE is looking for an experienced professional freelance PR to promote the work of VEE after it
has become a nationally-accredited Local Visitor Economy Partnership and also to work with
national and international press to gain more earned media of the area as the brilliant tourism
destination we all know it to be.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main duties and responsibilities:
The role will include reactive and responsive as well as planned and scheduled work to include:
● Managing VEE’s TravMedia account
● Inputting to VEE’s LinkedIn account
● Monitoring press enquiries
● Encouraging and managing press visits
● Working with national tourism bodies VisitEngland and VisitBritain
We anticipate a 15-hour a week freelance contract and would like to talk to interested parties
about what they can offer us.
